Odmev na odprtje nove hamburške filharmonične dvorane je še vedno zelo velik. Kako tudi ne, saj je evropska glasbena kultura najmočnejša v svetu, klasična glasba pa še posebej. Medtem ko je bil skladatelj Vito Žuraj že predstavljen, pa sem iz Kölna nepričakovano prejel informacijo, da bosta na koncertu Dolga noč komorne glasbe nastopila dva slovenska saksofonista: Blaž Kemperle in Alan Lužar, oba člana mednarodno uveljavljenega kvarteta saksofonov Signum.

To bo 4. marca na Festivalu komorne glasbe (Kammermusikfest) in Die lange Nacht der Kammermusik. Tudi ta koncert je že razprodan.
V kvartetu saksofonov Signum igrajo Blaž Kemperle (sopran saksofon), Erik Nestler (alt saksofon), Alan Lužar (tenor saksofon) in Guerino Bellarosa (bariton saksofon).

The four musicians Blaž Kemperle, Erik Nestler, Alan Lužar and Guerino Bellarosa met in Cologne where they founded the SIGNUM saxophone quartet in 2006. The saxophonists have studied in Cologne, Vienna and Amsterdam; they have been influenced and inspired by the Quatuor Ébène, Artemis Quartet and Gabor Takács-Nagy.
Award-winners at international competitions including Lugano and Berlin, SIGNUM nowadays play in concert halls and at festivals all over Europe. In 2013 they made their debut in the Carnegie Hall NY. A very special and remarkable achievement was the award „Rising Stars 2014/2015“ given by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), which took SIGNUM to such prestigious concert halls as the Barbican Centre London, Konzerthaus Vienna, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels, Gulbenkian Lisbon, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Philharmonie Cologne, amongst others.

The season 2016/2017 will take the SIGNUMs to Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Grand Philharmonic Hall St Petersburg, BASF, Warsaw Philharmonie, Concertgebouw Bruges, Paul Klee Zentrum Bern, Musikfest Bremen, Villa Musica and many more; they have been invited back to Italy, Bulgaria, Austria and many German cities, and for a further tour of South Korea.

Na Dolgi noči komorne glasbe bodo sicer nastopili še drugi glasbeniki, kot svetovno znana klarinetistka Sabine Meyer, prav tako znani violinist Renaud Capuçon, legendarni pianist Menahem Pressler, sopranistka Christiane Karg, violončelist Daniel Müller-Schott, trobentar Sergei Nakariakov, Quatuor Modigliani, Cello Duello, Trio di Clarone, kot rečeno SIGNUM Saxophone Quartet…
Na programu bodo komorna dela od Bacha, Schuberta in Schumanna ter Jeana Baptiste Arbana do še drugih mojstrov komorne glasbe. Koncert se bo začel že ob 18. uri, končal pa po polnoči.
